Alaska Sea Ag's fish bone meal plays a key role in our soil's transformation. We use it both in the beds and in our compost. Over the years, we have been very pleased with the results and have continued to use fish bone meal as a soil builder as we break ground in school gardens across Fairbanks -- (it's even able to transform trampled school grounds into beautiful soil!...).
Calypso Farm and Ecology Center has been in operation since 2000. We've built a small, diversified farm on the sunny slopes outside of Fairbanks. Our soil is primarily deposited wind blown silt. Thanks in part to Alaska Sea Ag, we have been able to transform the silt into beautiful, rich, alive soil which supports an amazing array of crops. Alaska Sea Ag's fish bone meal plays a key role in our soil's transformation. We use it both in the beds and in our compost. We also rely on the kelp products to keep our transplants healthy and vital through spring planting. We are also continually impressed with the new products available and the wonderful cutomer service! As an organization dedicated to ecological agriculture, we are thrilled that Alaska Sea Ag is working to turn waste products into valuable soil ammendments - directly available to Alaskan farmers. Thank you so much for the part you play in insuring a healthy and food secure future for Alaskans!
